What are 15 or 30 free hours?
All children are entitled to 15 free hours a week of child care provided by the government which is the equivalent to part-time attendance. 15 hours equates to 5 (3-hour) sessions per week. Parents and carers choose which days and which sessions (morning or afternoon) they want their child to attend per term via an ongoing contract.
Some children are entitled to 30 free hours which is a full-time place at our nursery. This consists of all morning and afternoon sessions, but does not include the lunch hour or before and after-school wraparound care.
Parents and carers entitled to both 15 or 30 free hours can top up their child care as appropriate.
What are the opening and closing times?
The main operating hours of Nursery are 8.30am-3.30pm, with additional wraparound care in the morning, after school and at lunchtime.
Children can be dropped off at Nursery at 7.40am and collected at 5.30pm.
