SIAMS
Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS)
All Church of England dioceses and the Methodist Church use the Church of England Education Office’s framework for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005.
The principal objective of SIAMS is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school, and how well the distinctive Christian character and ethos of the school ensure the development and achievement of the whole child or young person.
St. John’s C.E. Primary School N20 achieved a Judgement 1 Outcome - The school successfully lives out its foundation as a Church school, enabling flourishing.
‘Adults care for pupils in an exceptional way. They encourage pupils to appreciate their own strengths and to work on personal challenges. Thus, they aspire to 'do all things through Christ who strengthens me’.'
'With love and support, staff find creative ways to meet the needs of pupils'
