School SEND Information Report

Our SEND School Information Report sets out how we, at St John’s, support our children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). It summarises the SEND policy, which sets out our day to day provision and procedures in more detail. The policy can be found on our website at:

SEND Policy Review – September 2018

Our aim is to review our Local Offer by asking the children and parents about what we are doing well and, more importantly, if they believe there are any areas on which we could improve.

In addition to our own Offer, a supplementary borough-wide SEND policy is outlined on the Barnet Council website. The website also provides an exhaustive list of schools, colleges, public organisations and specialist services that provide support for families who have children with SEND. Furthermore, it gives information on Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) assessments – which are replacing SEND statements.
