Health and Wellbeing
At St John’s, we pride ourselves on being a school that actively promotes a healthy lifestyle and that provides for children’s health and wellbeing across four key areas: Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE), Healthy Eating, Physical Activity and Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH). We believe in equipping children with the skills and attitudes to make informed decisions about their health. We support pupils to do their best and build on their achievements and are committed to ongoing improvement and development. The need to provide a physical and social environment conducive to work and learning is recognised.
We take a whole school approach in order to develop an ethos and environment that supports learning and promotes the health, wellbeing and happiness of all, helping our children to get the most out of life.
